The mosquito borne virus Zika has resulted in some 4,000 babies in Brazil being born with abnormally small heads and has now found its way into 17 other countries in the Americas. Unusually wet weather and a public health service weakened by economic crisis have contributed to the scale of the outbreak. The Â鶹Éç's Julia Carneiro reports from Salvador in north-eastern Brazil.
