Gbagbo advisor: "It's a parody of justice."

Newsday

Available for over a year

Former Ivory Coast president, Laurent Gbagbo, is due to appear before the International Criminal Court at the Hague, charged with crimes against humanity. In November 2010, Ivory Coast descended into post-election violence when Gbagbo refused to stand down after losing the election to the current Ivorian leader, Alassane Ouattara. Mr Gbagbo is accused of allegedly masterminding a campaign of murders, rapes and persecution. Abdon Bayeto is one of Mr Gbagbo's closest advisors and is confident he will be found innocent.
