An exotic animal owner in Leicestershire says he may be forced to either lock up one of his most precious animals for good OR put them down. Simon Dalby runs a company called Wild Things in Barrow Upon Soar, which means he travels with dozens of animals to events around the county. But one of his most popular attractions - the raccoons- could soon be outlawed by the European Commission. The Commission is concerned that raccoons, along with a number of other animals and plants, are a threat to our native wildlife. Its getting ready to publish its latest list of so-called Invasive Alien Species, but there are raccoon owners who say the animals are already well controlled and not a threat. Â鶹Éç Radio Leicester's Manish Verma reports.
