Newsday

Available for over a year

In 2013 they went to war. Now they are back together running South Sudan. Riek Machar has been appointed Vice-President, being reinstated by President Salva Kiir. The move was stipulated under a peace deal the two men signed last August to end a civil war. Machar said it would help speed up the demilitarisation of the capital Juba. But he was asked by Newsday's Nkem Ifejika if he trusted the President? (Pic: South Sudan"s rebel leader Riek Machar who has now become vice-president.
