A chicken-size dinosaur discovered discovered in China is the first found to have feathers on all four limbs. Tiny ancient organisms enable palaeoclimatologists to trace history of south-west Asian monsoons back 11,000 years. Boycotting scientists in countries with dangerous regimes might be an effective form of protest. Arsenic pollution and poisoning is a global problem but it is particularly bad in Bangladesh.
