Word Trade talks in Mexico are widely regarded to have failed, with government subsidies to US farmers causing controversy. Also a report on the distressing use of child soldiers force to fight in the Democratic Republic of Congo and in the North Atlantic animal rights activists are urging an end to whaling on the Faroe Islands, where whale meat is part of the nation's diet.
