A series of programmes marking the 50th anniversary celebrations of FOOC. The series starts with a programme on five decades of coverage of the Middle East. The programme includes the brutality of the Iran-Iraq war in the 1980s where death is everywhere. The invasion of Kuwait by Iraq and the subsequent coalition invasion of Iraq in 199, the Arab-Israeli conflict of the 1970s and attempts at peace-making between Israel and Palestine.
