Newsday

Available for over a year

The United Nations says it has asked the Democratic Republic of Congo to investigate new allegations that its peacekeepers sexually abused four children living in a camp for displaced civilians in the Central African Republic. Farhan Haq is the Spokesperson for UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon. He told Newsday that troops are under the control of their respective government, but that the UN would launch an investigation if the DRC failed to do so within ten days.
