Tolkien's unseen poems

World Update

Available for over a year

Two forgotten poems by JRR Tolkien - the author famous for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy - have been rediscovered in a school magazine. An American Tolkien scholar, Wayne Hammond saw references to the poems, when going through some of the author's letters, and got in touch with Our Lady's School in Oxford in the UK, to ask if they might have something special in their archives. Prinicpal Stephen Oliver found the poems: (Picture: School Annual from 1936. Credit: Our Lady's Abingdon)
