Using Monopoly to show the 'absurdity' of Hong Kong house prices

Big Boss Interview

Available for over a year

Do you play Monopoly? If you do - whether you use the traditional layout of Atlantic City or London or any of the other global cities - you'll be aware that the monetary values of the streets and other features do not exactly reflect modern reality. What if they did? A young Hong Kong law student Justin Cheuk decided to do the math on the Hong Kong board, and produce an accurate picture of the price per square metre of real estate there. His blog post has excited a lot of interest - and been featured in the South China Morning Post - as a scary reminder of how 'absurd' prices now are. (Image: Hong Kong skyline. Credit: Getty Images)
