Bret Easton Ellis has been labelled as everything from genius to debauched, and viewed as the leader of a new 'Brat Pack' of novelists. His new book is a ghost story in which a fictionalised version of the author tries to turn his back on his former hedonistic lifestyle, without much success. He talks to the show about his latest work. Also on the programme: Does Doctor Atomic deliver? The show's verdict on the new opera. Plus a look at 'sci-fi western' Serenity.
