PM

Available for over a year

The Royal Navy's most decorated pilot, Capt Eric "Winkle" Brown, has died at the age of 97. Captain Brown flew 487 different types of aircraft, more than anyone else in the world. He crashed 23 times. We heard from Captain Brown not long ago after a listener contacted iPM suggesting his remarkable achievements should be more widely known.
