This year's Oscars have already provoked controversy. Now the contents of a 'goody bag' offered to many of those attending the ceremony has sparked a row. Its contents are said to be worth around £150,000 and include a year's worth of car rentals, a lifetime's supply of upmarket skincare and a £39,000, ten day, first class trip to Israel. Artists for Palestine UK has called on actors and directors on the Oscars shortlists not to accept the paid trip to Israel. The film director Ken Loach is among those who think the stars offered the trip, should turn it down. Naama Kaplan is the Director of the Israel Government Tourist Office for the UK and Ireland, she describes what someone might see on this Oscars experience.
