Should traditional school rugby become a thing of the past? That’s what over 70 academics, doctors and public health professionals argue – they have sent an open letter to ministers to request a ban on contact rugby in schools. John Humphrys talks to Allyson Pollock, professor of Public Health Research and Policy at Queen Mary University of London, and Matt Perry, former Rugby Union full back for Bath and an England International. First broadcast on Today, 2 March 2016.
