They can be corny, classic, boring or bizarre but political slogans have been a consistent feature of every electoral race in the United States. In 2008, Barack Obama whizzed through the electoral campaign with his "Yes we can." You might also remember George W Bush and his "Compassionate Conservatism". Donald Trump's "Make America great again" is one of the slogans that keep political observers scratching their heads. Why is it so popular?
