New research suggests that orchestras may have been playing "An American in Paris" by George Gershwin incorrectly for the past 70 years -- or at least one specific part. Questions have been raised about the notes played by the French taxi horns. Researchers from the University of Michigan argue that the standard pitch of the horns, heard in the classic 1951 movie musical and in concert halls everywhere, is not what Gershwin intended.
