A group of leading Israelis and Palestinians discuss the worsening crisis in the Middle East. It occurs after US president, George W Bush, called on both sides to “break with the past”. The debate was organised by the �鶹��, and took place in Jerusalem with the aim to sit officials from both sides at the same table to work towards a common future. What would be the shape of an eventual settlement? Is it possible to build on any common ground? Panel guests include: Yuri Xavier, who led the Israeli negotiations for the Oslo Peace Process: Hassan Atib, Palestinian labour minister and who was also part of the delegation for the Madrid Peace Talks;Israeli ambassador and advisor to Ariel Sharon, Dore Gold; and Ziad Abuzayyad, member Palestinian Legislative Council.
