Yesterday we started a three part series looking at a tiny corner of Rutland between the tiny villages of Braunston and Brooke. Brooke Priory is the home today of Michael Allen and he was kind enough to allow Peter Liddle and Ben along with two local historians, to wander around his house and gardens which are the last remnants of the original thirteenth century priory and a magnificent house that it's thought once also stood on the site.
