President Obama has begun a three-day visit to Cuba, which is being seen as the climax of two years' hard work to improve relations between the superpower and its Communist neighbour. He's promised to raise questions of human rights and political reforms, although Cuban officials have said that a change to its one-party system is not on the agenda. What they want is the full easing of the American economic embargo on the island. Vicki Huddleston, once the top US diplomat in Cuba is co-author of Learning to Salsa: New Steps in U.S.-Cuba Relations. She described how significant the visit is.
