Brussels attack: Love is (part of) the answer

Newsday

Available for over a year

Bleri Lleshi is a political philosopher, youth worker and author. He says that groups like the so-called Islamic State have a goal to sow fear and distrust and suggests that societies play into their hands by responding in exactly that manner. After the attacks in Brussels he wrote that 'we must respond with love, because love is a powerful weapon against terrorism'. He told Newsday what he meant.
