Storm Katie has wreaked havoc across the UK: scaffolding pulled down, cranes bent out of shape and thousands of people without power, but Sue Abel in the Alderney experienced something even more extreme when a stable blew into her front garden. "I heard a great thud on the side of the house and there was a smashed window upstairs, it turned out a stable had flipped over into our garden, fortunately there were no horses in it."
