Are religious minorities in Pakistan targeted?

Nihal

Available for over a year

The recent bombing in a public family park in Lahore has killed at least 72 people, with 280 reported as being injured by the blast. Pakistani Taliban faction Jamaat ul-Ahrar says Christians were the target of the bomb. The park was more crowded than usual as members of Lahore's minority Christian community had organised an Easter funfair. As a result of the attack, Pakistan's PM Nawaz Sharif has urged better co-ordination between security agencies against terror. Callers Izzy, Osama, and Sadia talk to Nihal about how protected religious minorities are (Photo Copyright: EPA)
