The European Union is considering plans to reduce funding for Burundi's peacekeeping force in Somalia as a way of putting pressure on the Burundian President Pierre Nkurunziza. The force earns the state roughly $13 million every year. Unrest has blighted Burundi since an attempted coup in May and protests over President Nkurunziza's continued rule. Frank Reidy, a military analyst and former Irish peacekeeping officer, spoke to the Â鶹Éç's Alan Kasujja. (Photo: Peacekeepers from Burundi in Somalia Credit: REUTERS/Feisal Omar)
