'Kenya will stop at nothing to root out doping in sport'

Newsday

Available for over a year

Today is the deadline imposed by the World Anti-Doping Agency on Kenya to conform to doping guidelines or face their athletes being banned for the Rio Olympics. The country is set to miss another deadline after its parliament went on a month-long recess without passing it. Doctor Moni Wekesa --one of the architects of the bill going before parliament-- has told Â鶹Éç Newsday what's being done to fight doping in sport in his country: (Caption: Kenyan athletes run during a training session in the Rift Valley in the northern part of the country.
