Painting faces on Soviet buildings

Outlook

Available for over a year

Looking across the Oka River at the frosty Russian city of Nizhny Novgorod, there's a dilapidated water tower that's been painted with huge staring eyes, and a grinning wide mouth. It's called The Big Brother, and was created by the street artist Nikita Nomerz, who paints faces on former Soviet buildings, as part of his Living Wall series. Nikita's now been invited to paint on buildings all over Russia and elsewhere in the world.
