NIGERIA child abductions not confined to Chibok

Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

While the case of the Chibok girls gained global attention, their case is not unusual. A year ago at least 300 children were kidnapped from another town- Damasak. Thousands of women have been forced to live under Boko Haram, to marry fighters, to live under their brutal interpretation of Islam. But as the Â鶹Éç's Alastair Leithead has been finding out in the town of Yola, its not just the trauma of going through that experience, its also the trauma of coming home.
