North-eastern Nigeria has been grappling with a relentless campaign of violence that the Islamist group Boko Haram has been carrying out over the last seven years. This has driven hundreds of thousands of people out of their homes. They fled to cities like Yola in Adamawa state where Newsday's Nkem Ifejika met children who are discovering the joy of learning, thanks to a programme called 'feed and read'.
