Does your family have the right to tell you what faith to follow?

Nihal

Available for over a year

Several Indian media outlets are running a story about protests outside the wedding of a Hindu and Muslim couple. Right wing Hindu activists claim that the man's family forced the bride to convert to Islam. That's been denied by both families who simply wanted to celebrate their children's wedding. But does this story point to a wider issue around conversion and faith? Do Asians still have hang ups about the faith that their children decide to follow? Three callers share their views with Nihal.
