Iran's morality police and their focus on women

Newsday

Available for over a year

Iran's morality police are out in force in Tehran. 7,000 undercover officers have been deployed there. Their focus is to report women for the improper wearing of the hijab and to report anyone who harasses women. Newsday's Tom Hagler spoke to Masih Alinejad, a US-based campaigner against women being forced to wear the veil. First you'll hear the voices of two women in Iran angered by all of this.
