As Jews around the world mark one of the holiest and most important festivals in their calendar this week, thousands of Ethiopian Jews remain hopeful they'll be spending their next Passover in Israel. Last November, the Israeli government approved the immigration of 9000 Jews from Ethiopia. But until now the money needed to acheive this resettlement, some $1billion, has been the stumbling block.
