Neal Scott is one of thousands of Fort McMurray residents who escaped the Canadian wildfires. The governor of the province of Alberta has declared a state of emergency and officials say sixteen hundred homes and other buildings have been destroyed by the blaze, which is now approaching the local airport. Neil talks of how he struggled to get out on time. He says he was stuck between a concrete barrier and the fire and he thought he might not make it out.
