Olaniyi Akindiya Akirash, known as Akirash, is a Nigerian interdisciplinary artist. He tells Bola Mosuro how he studied biochemistry and had a comfortable job until one day he found his calling for art. Akirash is one of the African artists showcasing their work at the Biennale of Contemporary African Art in the Senegalese capital Dakar.
