The brother of a racing driver who was killed by flying debris on the track has told 5 Live he can't understand opposition to plans for new head protection in F1. Stefan Wilson's brother Justin died last year after driving in an Indycar race in Pennslyvania. As a result of that crash and others like it, Formula One is due to introduce extra head protection for drivers in 2017. But there's controversy over proposed cockpit screens trialled during the Russian Grand Prix. Bernie Ecclestone and Lewis Hamilton have both been critical Stefan defended the plans. He told 5 Live; "it's very easy to be short sighted....to be sure it will hit opposition to begin with but once people adjust, it will become the new normal. If it means we don鈥檛 lose any more drivers I'm all for it. I don't see how you can be against that." This clip is originally from 5live Afternoon Edition on Monday May 9 2016.
