Sabrina Mahfouz a British-Egyptian poet who has always been interested in the sartorial efforts of Londoners. With the theme of migration, she has written a poem called London's Wardrobe and decided to go on a journey documenting Africa's historical links to the very clothes and styles found on the high streets of the British capital. The poem is part of a Focus on Africa series on Spoken Word artists from the African diaspora in the UK. Our series was inspired by the Â鶹Éç 1Xtra ‘Words First’ season.
