The Foreign Secretary, Phillip Hammond, has said he is "extremely worried" that the ideology of the Islamic State group is spreading into west Africa. Mr Hammond is attending a security summit in Nigeria focused on tackling the extremist group Boko Haram, which has recently developed closer ties with I-S.
