The World Health Organisation has just published their first-ever guidelines on how medics should treat victims of female genital mutilation. Hibo Wardere from Somalia, was cut aged 6. She first sought help for her medical problems aged 18, when she lived in the UK. She told David Whitty about that first meeting with a doctor.
