Getting rid of passwords?

Newsday

Available for over a year

Passwords can be terribly annoying, difficult to remember and insecure. Google is the latest among a number of high-tech companies that are seeking to eliminate passwords. Google is planning to test what it calls a 'trust-based' system, which monitors the way you use your mobile phone, the sound of your voice, your location and how you type to identify yourself as the owner of the device. But technology journalist, Adrian Mars, has his doubts about the proposed system.
