Plastic microscopic beads are used in many cosmetics, such as face and body scrubs, and don't biodegrade. There are renewed calls for a ban on their use because they harm marine life and studies have shown traces of plastic end up inside shellfish such as oysters. Sybil Ruscoe talks to the chair of the Environmental Audit Commission. First broadcast on Farming Today, 26 May 2016.
