Scientists have given an explanation for why some teenage boys go through a clumsy phase. Scientists in Italy say that a sudden growth-spurt seen in puberty affects the body鈥檚 ability to control established motor skills 鈥 like walking. Normally this only lasts as long as it takes for the brain adjusts to the body鈥檚 new dimensions. But as Health Check鈥檚 James Gallagher explained to Claudia Hammond, his clumsiness didn鈥檛 go away.
