A woman whose family is "stuck" on a French campsite because of flooding says the first they knew about it was when they woke up "surrounded by floodwater". Harriet Fletcher and her family are camping near the river Seine and were sound asleep when the managers of the site began evacuating tents in the middle of the night. The floods in France and Germany, which are the worst in more than a century, have already killed at least ten people and forced thousands to leave their homes.
