The late Abdul Hamid Piracha and the late Mudassir Khan first came to Blackburn in the fifties to work in the mills. Abdul was recognised by the Prime minister for his community work. Mudassir wrote a book "Still Here" about his experiences in Lancashire. Here they are talking to Talat-Farooq Awan in December 2013 about their first experience of love and racism...
