Every year, the Â鶹Éç World Service broadcasts a series of audio messages to the staff of the British Antarctic Survey. Britain's first astronaut, who joined the Russian space station MIR in 1991, sends her best wishes and has a pang of nostalgia for working in a team so far from home.
