It's a problem faced around the world: how can you be sure an employee's qualifications are real? The internet has made it easier for people to buy fake diplomas and the certificates can really look the part. But it can have serious consequences, especially when the jobs that are taken this way are in the healthcare sector. Someone who's been involved in trying to stop these scams is Allen Ezell, now a retired FBI agent. He headed "Operation Dipscam" which led to the closure of thirty fake diploma mills in the United States. He told Newsday's Nkem Ifejika all about what's now become a big industry.
