'Ethan is out of the operation, doing very well'

Newsday

Available for over a year

A three-year-old boy from Ghana will wake up today after undergoing life-changing surgery here in Britain. He's called Ethan Suglo and suffers from a condition in which some of his organs have grown outside his body. Unable to be treated in his home country, his parents raised enough money for him to be flown to the UK. And they were helped by two British doctors, a husband and wife, who had a chance encounter with Ethan in Ghana. Dr Jacquie Williams has been telling us more about how the operation went.
