DRC new national park: "the animals are amazing"

Newsday

Available for over a year

The Democratic Republic of Congo has just designated a new national park. It's created from a huge forest in the Lomami River basin and has more animals endemic to the DRC than any other protected area in the country - from the bonobo to the rare Congo peacock. The director of the project Dr Terese Hart spoke to Â鶹Éç Newsday. (Picture: -left- bonobo eats sugar cane; credit: Junior D.
