'It’s common for shooters to study other shooters'

5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Psychologist Peter Langman who wrote the book Why Kids Kill says it’s common for shooters to want to study other shooters after it was revealed his book was found in the home of the Munich shooter. 'It’s a little disturbing but it's not the first time it's happened.' 'Many shooters research the topic of mass murder whether its school shootings or other kinds of mass violence, and are often looking for a role model, they find someone such as Eric Harris one of the Columbine killers, or another famous murderer and often do a lot of study and research into the topic.' This clip is originally from Up All Night on Sunday 24 July 2016.
