Available for over a year

Pilot and pioneer, Bertrand Piccard said 'it's not the end of our work' as his zero - fuel aeroplane becomes the first ever solar powered plane to circle the world. Solar Impulse has completed a 35 thousand kilometre journey that has lasted 16 months. It's been a 17 year labour of love for co-pilots Andre Borschberg and his friend and business partner Bertrand Piccard. 'It's a demonstration that green technologies can achieve the impossible', said Piccard when talking about Climate change, 'I deeply believe it is important now to act, not to wait and do nothing'. This clip is originally from 5 live Drive on Monday 25th July 2016.
