The album 22 Strings, by Senegalese kora player Seckou Keita, won this year's Songlines Music Awards in the Africa and Middle East category. Â鶹Éç Africa's Manuel Toledo met him recently as he was touring Europe with the Orchestra of Syrian Musicians, presented by Africa Express.
