The executive chairman of advertising giant Saatchi and Saatchi has been suspended for comments he made about the ambitions of women executives. In an online interview with Business Insider, Kevin Roberts said many women don't focus on promotion. He said ''their ambition is not a vertical ambition, it's this intrinsic, circular ambition to be happy.'' He also said he did not believe the lack of women in senior roles "is a problem" and thought the debate was "all over". Claire Beale is global editor-in-chief of Campaign magazine.
