The Swiss hotel with no walls or roof

Newsday

Available for over a year

Fancy a holiday with a difference in the picturesque Swiss Alps? Then how about the hotel bedroom near the Matterhorn mountain with no walls or roof and just the sky and stars above as your canopy. This Alpine bedroom is the latest work by conceptual Swiss artist brothers Patrik and Frank Riklin, and is part of their "zero star" hotel concept. Newsday's Lebo Diseko spoke to half of the artist duo, Patrik Riklin. (Photo: Null Stern Hotel Credit: Atelier für Sonderaufgaben)
